We believe that success isn't just about "winning." Neither
is it not about perfection. It is about achieving excellence in every
aspect of your professional as well as personal lives. In coaching,
we get involved for the love of the profession. We develop close
and personal relationships with our clients because it helps them
achieve a positive coaching experience.
In my practice, we follow three instrinsic principles:
- Fun is pivotal. If you are not having fun, you won't achieve
a positive coaching experience.
- Skill development and improvement,
be it leadership, sales, motivation or management, is a crucial
aspect of having fun.
There is nothing more gratifying than achieving personal growth
intellectually and emotionally.
- Self-knowledge — discovering new things
about yourself — is one of the most rewarding experiences
of being coached.

Ellen Cahill has been a Certified Comprehensive Coach for more than
five years. She has a master's degree in speech and language pathology.
She is also an accomplished writer and speaker, and often teaches
short courses and workshops on business topics, professional development,
personal growth and better living at Bucks County Community College.
Ellen brings a wealth of experience to her coaching practice. Prior
to launching Leaps and Bounds: Pathways to Success, Ellen held the
position of district and program manager for Genesis Eldercare Rehabilitation.
Her experience as program manager included coordinating and supervising
therapeutic programs in two corporate-owned and managed centers,
as well as one assisted-living community. She also managed and ran
the rehabilitation department providing services and training as
needed.
As district manager, her role grew to supervising and managing eight
of the organization's centers in the greater Philadelphia area. She
provided regulatory advice, developed policies and procedures, as
well as new reporting systems.
During her eight-year tenure with Genesis, Ellen also provided speech,
language and dysphagia (swallowing) assessments and treatments for
adults.
Today, Ellen brings to the forefront her skill at working with people — an
experience she also earned at Genesis managing a large staff where
she often dealt with conflicts, leadership issues and accountability.
